Happy Thursday! Today we’re getting out our hooks and I’m showing you how to crochet a single-color granny square! This is a perfect project for beginners! These are cute on their own, but also perfect to go with the half-square triangles that we made last week. I also have a fun little project coming soon that will be perfect for these adorable crochet squares!

If you missed last week’s tutorial, make sure to check out the 2-tone Crochet Granny Square tutorial! We will be using 20 of the single-color squares and 24 of the two-tone squares to make a fun project, so stay tuned!

In this tutorial you will learn how to:

  • Make a slip knot
  • Chain
  • Double Crochet
  • Make an adorable granny square!
